Stanley Street Butchery, Sydney’s master biltong makers for over 30 years

Stanley Street Butchery in St Ives is more than just a butcher. Apart from producing the finest quality biltong, boerewors and drywors since 1974, it is a meeting place for expatriates from all over Southern Africa. South Africans, Rhodesians and Zimbabweans, Zambians, Mozambiqueans and Namibians – even Mauritians and Seychellois – come in to remember tastes from days gone by.

Landtasia’s certified organic beef is one of the premium grade meats Proprietor Jonathan Gill provides his customers.  Others include lamb, venison, buffalo and ostrich.  The boerewors (Sausage) and biltong is first class and often described as the best meat on a barbeque. You’ll also find the largest selection of South African grocery products in NSW.

Jonathan is a very friendly South African chappie.  He and the staff welcome visitors from outside the area to pop in for a chat.  If you’re like most visitors, you’ll leave with much more than you expected.
